Scotland Hydrogen Innovations - LONDON December2020 the Scottish government released a hydrogen policy statement, with plans on how to incorporate the fuel for use in heating, transportation and industry.

The Scottish Government plans to decarbonise scheduled flights within Scotland by 2040.

Aviation is responsible for 12% of CO2 emissions from all transport sources and has been one of the fastest growing sources of global emissions pre-COVID, according to the Air Transport Action Groupexternal link which will open in a new window.

Africa: The continent of Africa borders the southern half of the Mediterranean Sea. Africa is the world's second-largest and second-most populous continent. At about 30.3 million km2 including adjacent islands, it covers 6% of Earth's total surface area and 20% of its land area.
